The NCC is updating its policy governing federal driveways/parkways for the first time in thirty years.
The commission finally acknowledges that its parkways have become commuter thoroughfares, and that increasing demands to accommodate local transportation on federal lands has put the “future integrity” of the parkways at risk. More…
While this is no news to Island Park Drive residents and neighbours, it is an opportunity to express concerns and provide constructive input to the NCC.
We encourage you to participate (and spread the word): Traffic woes, from gridlock to highway speeds, worsen with every year that passes.

Take part in the online consultation from March 17 to April 6, 2014, by completing the questionnaire.
Attend one of two bilingual public consultations to be held in Gatineau and Ottawa.
