The owner of 70 Richmond Road – the gas station at the corner of Richmond and IPD that received heritage designation from the City last summer – will apply for a change in zoning to allow a restaurant on this property with a drive-through. The cars would enter from Richmond, go behind the building, and exit onto IPD. The site, just like most of the Richmond/Wellington corridor, is zoned not to permit drive-throughs because this would disrupt the “Main Street” feel. We feel this is an important issue, so please let us have your views!
